The equivalent tee (or straight tee) is utilized as the branch has the same distance across as the run pipe. Equal Tee are equipped for taking care of any high or low weight stream of fluid through it.

Equal/Straight Tee– in this type of tee Diameter of Branch is same as the Diameter of the Run Pipe

In Reducing Tee – Diameter of the Branch size is smaller than the Diameter of the Run Pipe
